WeP Peripherals Ltd (WeP), and Electronics & Controls Power Systems Private Limited (E&C), have formed a strategic alliance to jointly address the growing UPS market in India.

The business objective of the alliance is to achieve a business run-rate of Rs. 100 cr. by 2008. E&C has been in the business of Online UPS for the last 3 decades and is headquartered in Bangalore with manufacturing facilities in Pondicherry & Bangalore. E&C has a well-knit network of dedicated Sales and Service people across 50 locations in India. E&C's customers include all leading banks, financial institutions, and most leading corporates, Central and State Government agencies.

This strategic alliance brings together WeP's vast network of customers & business partners and E&C's technical expertise on Online UPS products (1KVA - 300KVA), integrated solutions & services. WeP will now market E&C's range of online UPS while E&C will continue to manufacture, supply & service the products with cutting edge speed.

This alliance will leverage our complimentary capabilities to deliver better service to WeP's and E&C's customers. We expect to improve industry standards and derive better economies of scale.
